(QNAP) today addressed vulnerability CVE-2021-36260 of Hikvision cameras and provides the following recommendations to QVR Pro and QVR Elite users who may be potentially affected. According to the security advisory by Hikvision , if these cameras are installed in the same LAN network, and this network cannot be accessed externally, attackers will NOT be able to exploit this vulnerability. How to Export Recordings from QVR Pro Client Open your QVR Pro Client , then login with the QVR Pro ’s IP address and the proper login credentials. Drag the camera that is recording your desired video segment into the main view. Click on the Export Recordings icon. We can select the export settings from this window. In this tutorial, we will export a 5-minute segment from our recording, so we will change Duration to 5 minutes and leave the other settings as default. By checking Advanced Settings , you can select the output format and other specifications.
