How to Backup QVR Pro Recordings
Introduction
- If you use Recording Backup in QVR Pro Server. you can Backup to other NAS and you can set up the Backup schedule
- When the destination space is full. you can select to Stop backup or delete the oldest recording data
ensure that you have selected “Use Recording File Explorer to access recordings”

- ensure that you disable Recycle bin for the export folder
- ensure that the version is QVR Pro 1.3.0(or later)
Setting
- Open QVR Pro > Recordings Management.
- Click the Recording Backup tab > Create Task.
- Fill in the information:
- Task name
- IP address: Entry NAS IP
- Username: Entry NAS username
- Password: Entry NAS password
- Path: path to the directory in which you’d like to store your backup recordings.
Note : ensure that directory must be exist.
- Click “Test” to see if connection to the folder has no problems.
- Click “Next”.
- Configure settings on this page, then click “Finish”.
- Note: you can only import QVI format recordings, so it is suggested to backup QVI format if you are planning to import the backup recordings in the future.
- Note: you can set the schedule backup at this step.
