QVR Pro : shares user accounts and user groups with QTS, but has its own privilege and user role settings QVR Center : uses its own authentication and authorization settings QVR Guard : only inherits the account “admin” and its privileges

How do I configure QVR Pro privilege settings?

You can specify privileges for QVR Pro users, user groups, and roles in  QVR Pro  >  Control Panel  >  Privilege . For each privilege, you can select  Allow ,  Deny , or simply leave it undetermined. QVR Pro disables a privilege when no option is selected for this privilege.

Do I need to activate licenses for QVR Guard?

No. When taking over the role and tasks of a QVR Pro server, QVR Guard also inherits this server’s license settings. Can QVR Pro and Surveillance Station share the same licenses? Can I transfer or migrate my licenses from one to another?

No. Surveillance Station and QVR Pro are independent applications. Therefore, they cannot share licenses, nor can you migrate or transfer any existing licenses from one server to another server. Do I need any licenses to use QVR Center?

QVR Center itself is a free application that does not require any licenses. By default, QVR Center can manage up to 2 QVR Pro servers (which have limited access to playback features). To manage more QVR Pro servers in QVR Center (up to 128 servers), you need to activate the QVR Pro Gold license on these QVR Pro servers. In addition to server scalability in QVR Center, QVR Pro Gold also provides you with access to other premium features.
