How to set up spare volume in QVR Pro

Induction
When any volume in the recording space fails, recording will be stored to the spare volume.
Set up recording space and spare volume
  1. Click the “Recording Storage”
  1. if you set up for first time,Click the Recording Space → “+”
  1. Click “Add” if you had set up before.
  1. Select the volume that recording space want to use
    and specify the ‘Estimated Allocated Size’.
  1. Next select the spare volume and specify the size.
  1. Check the setting and click “Apply”.

How to Backup QVR Pro Recordings Introduction If you use Recording Backup in QVR Pro Server.  you can Backup to other NAS and you can set up the Backup schedule When the destination space is full. you can select to Stop backup or delete the oldest recording data  Before you start ensure that you have selected “Use Recording File Explorer to access recordings” in recording File Explorer page ensure that you disable Recycle bin for the export folder ensure that the version is QVR Pro 1.3.0(or later)

How to Export Recordings from QVR Pro Client Open your  QVR Pro Client , then login with the  QVR Pro ’s IP address and the proper login credentials. Drag the camera that is recording your desired video segment into the main view.  Click on the  Export Recordings  icon.  We can select the export settings from this window. In this tutorial, we will export a 5-minute segment from our recording, so we will change  Duration  to  5 minutes  and leave the other settings as default. By checking  Advanced Settings , you can select the output format and other specifications. How to Set Minimum or Maximum Number of Recording Days In this tutorial, we will be setting the minimum number of recording days to 2 days, and leave the maximum number of days undefined (default). In  QVR Pro , open  Recording Storage . Navigate into the  Recording Location and Days  tab, then click on the  Edit icon  under the desired camera. Under  Channel setting , select  Use custom settings  and set  Days  to  At Least 2 Days , then finally hit  Apply .
