How to Begin Recording on Event Detection in QVR Pro

Before you start

  • Make sure you have already got a camera which supports the motion detection function.(Refer to the QVR Pro Camera Compatibility List)
  • If your camera does not support the motion detection. you can use motion detection function via QVR pro. QVR Pro provides up to two channels for motion detection analysis and supports resolutions up to 1080p.

Setting

  1. In QVR Pro, open Event Management. and Click ‘+’
  2. Choose a name and set a weekly schedule for your event, then click ‘Next’.
  3. Under the ‘If’ list, click on ‘Add’ to add a trigger event.
  4. If you do not setting ‘Motion Detection’ via QVR Pro,skip to step 8.
  5. Click ‘(None)as detector.’
  6. Select QVR Pro as our Detector and click Apply.
  • Note: Changing the light sensitivity option may help prevent false motion detection by changes in light intensities.
  1. On the next pop-up, select Not now.
  2. Select event type you want. and select camera.
  • Note: There is no limit to the number of cameras used for Motion Detection if the camera itself supports this function. The maximum number of cameras selected that do not support Motion Detection is 2
  1. Under the Then list, click Add.
  2. We will select our camera to begin recording on event, then click Ok
  3. If you want setting record duration of the event.click ‘Rule Thresholds’. Specify the duration

  4. Click ‘Next’ and finally, Finish.
